Host of Morning Breeze on in him is life radio/Tv James Clarke has commended the Member of Parliament for Odododiodio constituency, Nii Lante Vanderpuye urging the Ga community to support people of their tribe who has presidential ambition.
Nii Lante Vanderpuye was addressing a gathering at a ceremony to lift the ban on drumming and noise-making “Odadao celebration'”at Gbese in Accra.
The annual ban on drumming and noise making within the jurisdiction of the Ga and Ngleshie Alata Traditional Council in the Greater Accra Region took effect from Monday, May 13 and ended on Thursday, June 13.
The one-month long ban is a custom that precedes the celebration of the Homowo Festival of the chiefs and people of Ga Mashie.
James Clarke noted the Gas for sometime now prefer to support people from other tribes when it comes to choosing Vice president and presidential candidates.
According to him this statement “now that the Gas chiefs are united any Ga person elected or chosen to be Vice President of any of the political party , the Gas should come together to support that person to achieve that aim” by a former minister of state and Mp carries weight and will go along way to influence the Gas to do the right thing by supporting each other.
James Clarke urged all leaders in the country to emulate the MP for in order for the country to attain greater heights since unity is strength.
